Department of Assamese

The department of Assamese has been functional since 2010. Apart from classroom teaching for the Higher Secondary classes, the Department is actively engaged in Literary and Cultural Activities like Quiz, Debate Traditional Fashion Show, Recitation Competitions, Organising Programme on Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Shilpi Divas and Publication of College Magazine and Wall Magazine. The Department is Successfully producing large number of students with good score, ranging upto 97-99 every year, since the year of establishment.
